Nintendo Power Reference

SMBHQ was mentioned in the May 2001 issue of Nintendo Power, as part of a list of fansites in their "Nintendo Online" column. With this reference, SMBHQ became more then just your average old Mario Fan site and into something much greater. In an interesting twist of fate, SMBHQ is one of only 3 sites mentioned in that column (Nintendoland and Nintendojo are the others) to still be online today.
